Training
Use the training module to learn how to use the tools contained in the ERDSS application.
How It Works
The training module is a series of interactive learning programs designed to teach you everything you need to know about ERDSS and its suite of tools. Each of the training components contains instructions on a specific tool, providing background and safety information, introductions to different modes of the tool, helpful tips, and finally a guided walkthrough of a sample scenario.
Training Module
1. Search: Type to search for matching ERDSS training programs.
2. Share Multiple: Share multiple training programs with other users. Check each program you would like to share.
3. Categories: Select the category of program.
4. Programs: Select a tool to begin a training program.
5. Share: Share a single training program with other users of ERDSS.
1. Chapters: List of chapters in the video. Click one to jump to that section.
2. Video Window: Click once to toggle play and pause.
3. Help: Open the help document.
4. Glossary: Open a glossary for terms used in the training, help documents, and application.
5. Back: Go back to training home page to select a different program.
6. Progress Bar: Shows progress within the current component.
7. Play/Pause Button: Toggle play and pause.
8. Restart: Restart the video from the beginning.
9. Volume: Change the video volume.
10. Quality Setting: Select the quality of the video. Lower quality will load faster for slower connections.
11. Closed Captions: Toggle closed captions.
12. Expand: Toggle full screen video.
